Jollibee Group has been included in the inaugural TIME100 Companies: Industry Leaders list and ranked among the Top 10 Food & Drink companies worldwide, highlighting the Filipino fast-food giant’s growing global influence.
TIME described Jollibee as a “fried-chicken phenom,” citing its strong leadership in the Philippine market and its expanding international presence. The recognition was based on the company’s impact, innovation, ambition, and business success.
Jollibee Group president and CEO Ernesto Tanmantiong said the recognition reflects the company’s mission of “spreading joy through superior taste” and the dedication of its workforce worldwide.
The company has grown from a local Philippine brand into one of the world’s fastest-growing restaurant groups, now operating more than 10,400 stores and cafés across 33 countries through 20 brands. Its major business categories include fried chicken under Jollibee, Chinese cuisine through Tim Ho Wan, premium burgers via Smashburger, and coffee and tea through The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
The recognition comes as Jollibee accelerates its global expansion, including launching its first franchising program in the United States in 2025 and growing its North American network to more than 100 stores.
The milestone strengthens Jollibee’s standing as a globally competitive Filipino company and adds to its recent international recognitions, including inclusion in the Fortune Southeast Asia 500 and being named by Brand Finance as one of the Top 5 Strongest Restaurant Brands globally for 2026
