Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has ranked first in the Philippines’ SpeedGeo Broadband Internet Speed Ranking for the first quarter of the year, based on hundreds of thousands of user tests nationwide.
The ranking covered 365,640 tests across fixed and mobile broadband networks using both wired and WiFi connections. Providers were ranked by average download speeds.
For the 12-month period from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026, Converge was consistently the fastest fixed broadband provider in the country, with an average download speed of 129.7 Mbps. It also tied for the highest upload speed at 121.9 Mbps.
Its closest competitor, PLDT, recorded 120.7 Mbps download and 121.8 Mbps upload speeds. Globe followed with 108.9 Mbps download and 93.4 Mbps upload speeds.
In mobile internet, DITO emerged as the fastest provider for the quarter, posting an average download speed of 70.5 Mbps. It also led in mobile upload speed at 9.7 Mbps.
Globe, meanwhile, recorded the best mobile responsiveness with the lowest latency, or ping, at 50 milliseconds.
