The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has expanded its Ginhawa Service Hubs to more shopping centers in Metro Manila and nearby provinces, bringing its services closer to members and pensioners. New or additional locations include Festival Mall Alabang, Robinsons Galleria Ortigas, Robinsons Novaliches, Robinsons Place Dasmariñas, and SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
These hubs are set up to offer a more convenient, faster alternative to visiting regular branch offices, especially for those who cannot go during standard working hours. According to GSIS president and general manager Wick Veloso, the goal is to make transactions accessible and hassle-free by placing services where people usually go.
Available assistance covers a wide range of needs, such as help with GSIS Touch registration, support for pensioners under the APIR program, inquiries about loans and claims, document submission, housing program applications, non-life insurance concerns, and status checks for requests. The hubs also support the agency’s shift to digital services by serving as physical touchpoints while encouraging use of the GSIS Touch mobile app.
Veloso noted this move is part of ongoing efforts to improve service quality and reach more people without them having to travel far. Operating hours and specific services may differ by branch, so the public is advised to follow official GSIS social media pages for the latest updates and schedules.
The expansion, GSIS said, improves government service accessibility, reduces barriers for members and pensioners, and balances physical and digital service delivery to enhance overall customer experience.
