LG launches new AI-powered aircons for comfort, energy savings, easy maitenance

As temperatures rise and electricity costs remain a key concern for households, LG Electronics Philippines has launched its LG DUALCOOL™ AI Aircons, a home cooling solution designed to balance comfort, energy efficiency, and simple maintenance.

The system centers on its AI Air feature, which learns user habits over time and uses deep learning to automatically adjust cooling for consistent, personalized comfort. To help manage power use and lower monthly bills, the aircons come equipped with a dual inverter compressor, kW usage monitoring, window-open detection, and a human sensor that adapts operation based on presence. Users can track cumulative consumption and set usage targets conveniently through the LG ThinQ mobile app.

For cleaner air and easier upkeep, the ALL Cleaning function runs a full cycle of freezing, melting, washing, and drying to sanitize internal parts, ensuring fresh airflow while reducing the need for manual cleaning.

“Today’s cooling needs to do more than just lower the temperature,” said Chansoo Jang, eco-solutions product director at LG Electronics Philippines. “We brought together intelligent comfort, proactive energy savings, and simpler care so users can enjoy a balanced, worry-free cooling experience at home.”

The launch directly responds to two major consumer priorities in the Philippines — high electricity expenses and reliable, healthy cooling — meeting growing demand for smart, energy-efficient home appliances that deliver both performance and value.
