Park Inn Iloilo thrives as it marks 7th anniversary 

 Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo celebrated its seventh anniversary this week, highlighting Ilonggo hospitality, award-winning cuisine, and strong community partnerships that have cemented its place among Western Visayas’ top hospitality destinations.

The milestone also underscores the ongoing collaboration between Radisson Hotel Group and SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation, expanding world-class accommodations outside Metro Manila while boosting regional tourism and local economic growth.

“Seven years ago, we envisioned Park Inn by Radisson Iloilo as a landmark property contributing to Western Visayas’ vibrant tourism scene,” said Peggy Angeles, executive vice president of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation. “Seeing it evolve into a destination that combines global standards with local heart is incredibly rewarding.”

Since its 2019 opening, the hotel has earned recognition for safety, innovation, and the celebration of Ilonggo culture. It recently received the internationally recognized Safehotels Certification, affirming its commitment to global safety and security standards.

The hotel’s culinary team has also shone on the national stage, winning a Gold medal for Bibingka and Silver for Valenciana at the 16th National Food Showdown. “These awards show how food preserves culture and heritage,” said General Manager Rouel Guanzon.

Beyond hospitality, Park Inn Iloilo has launched initiatives like the “Beyond the Plate” masterclass and “Panubli-on” documentary series, spotlighting local culinary traditions and storytelling.

As it enters its eighth year, the hotel reaffirmed its commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences while strengthening its ties with the Iloilo community through culture, innovation, and service.
