SGV & Co., the country’s largest professional services firm, has admitted three new partners effective July 1, as it strengthens leadership across its assurance and tax practices amid growing demand for specialized advisory and compliance services.
The new partners are Juan Gabriel Ma. G. Cagampan, Reah D. Gordo, and Jackie Lou D. Lamug, all longtime professionals within the firm with extensive experience serving clients across major industries.
Cagampan joins the partnership as an Assurance Partner, bringing expertise in auditing companies in the logistics, consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, and mining sectors. He has led audit engagements for listed and private firms and worked on capital-raising transactions, including stock rights offerings.
Gordo, also an Assurance Partner, specializes in financial institutions, including banks, insurance firms, financing companies, asset managers, and brokerages. Her experience includes audits of listed manufacturers and conglomerates, while a secondment to an EY office in San Francisco provided exposure to fast-growing fintech clients and international markets.
Meanwhile, Lamug becomes a Tax Partner under the firm’s People Advisory Services and International Tax and Transaction Services practices. A CPA-lawyer, she advises clients on immigration matters, tax controversies, cross-border transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate tax issues.
The appointments expand SGV’s leadership bench as businesses navigate increasingly complex reporting, tax, regulatory, and cross-border requirements. The move also reflects the firm’s continued investment in developing senior talent across key service areas supporting Philippine companies and multinational clients.
