The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has officially appointed Atty. Ricardo R. Blancaflor as the new chairman of its board of trustees, effective June 10, 2026. He takes over the post previously held by Rodney Del Rosario Jr.
In a statement, GSIS management expressed full support for Blancaflor, noting his extensive background in government service, legal practice, and policy work. The agency said his expertise will help strengthen its financial standing, expand benefits, and improve services for members and pensioners.
