Tanduay highlights Filipino craftsmanship at DTI Tatak Pinoy Expo 2026

Tanduay participated in the recent DTI Tatak Pinoy Expo 2026 held at SMX Convention Center Manila, showcasing its 172-year legacy of distilling excellence and innovative Filipino-made products.

The event, which features top Philippine brands, aligns with the Tatak Pinoy Act enacted in 2024 to boost local industry competitiveness and global market standing. According to Tanduay Special Projects Unit Head Romadel Pamfilo, joining the expo allowed the brand to present its premium rum portfolio to consumers, trade partners and stakeholders. She noted that the activity supports Tanduay’s 2026 expansion plans, coming on the heels of recent international awards including wins at the Proof Awards 2025 and International Spirits Competition.

During the expo, Tanduay set up an immersive booth where guests could sample Filipino-inspired cocktails created by professional and house bartenders. The brand also displayed its award-winning products such as Tanduay Reserve Rum 10 Years, Overproof, Double Rum, Especia Spiced Rum and Asian Rum Gold & Silver. These offerings demonstrate the range of Tanduay’s production, from aged sipping rums to bold expressions that have earned global recognition.

DTI Assistant Secretary Nylah Rizza Bautista emphasized that events like this prove Filipino excellence is already present across industries, and called for continued support of local brands built for the global market.

For eight consecutive years, Tanduay has been named the World’s No. 1 Rum by Drinks International. Today, its products are distributed in over 30 countries including Australia, the United States, United Kingdom, Japan and Germany, standing as a symbol of Filipino heritage and quality on the international stage.
