Brokerage firm Unicapital Securities Inc. has introduced UTrade WealthBasket, a new automated investing product that provides professionally managed stock portfolios.
The product is designed to make investing more accessible for Filipinos. Instead of researching, choosing and monitoring individual stocks themselves, investors can select from pre-built portfolios tailored to different financial goals and risk preferences. Each WealthBasket holds up to 15 carefully selected stocks, constructed and managed by the company’s research team based on market conditions and investment objectives.
The first available portfolio, Steady-Divs, focuses on high-quality, dividend-paying stocks. It requires a minimum investment of ₱150,000 and aims to generate passive income while lowering portfolio volatility.
Unicapital regularly reviews and adjusts the portfolios twice a year to ensure they remain aligned with their intended strategies. The company states that this solution combines professional market oversight with direct stock ownership, allowing investors to participate in the growth of the Philippine stock market with greater convenience and clarity.
