Mixed fuel price adjustments to continue this week

Fuel prices will likely see mixed movements this week, according to Leo Bellas, president of Jetti Petroleum.

Gasoline may drop by as much as P1.70 per liter, or rise by up to P0.30 per liter. Diesel, meanwhile, is projected to increase between P1.15 and P3.15 per liter. No outlook was given for kerosene.

Bellas noted these estimates reflect five days of global trading, foreign exchange rates, shipping costs, and industry expenses. Diesel prices are rising due to limited supply from the Middle East and potential disruptions to Russian exports caused by recent attacks on energy facilities. Gasoline drops are capped by steady Asian demand and restricted supplies from China.

Last week, prices went down significantly: gasoline fell P3.90 to P5.90 per liter, diesel dropped P9.04 to P11.04 per liter, and kerosene decreased P9.82 to P11.82 per liter.

Latest Department of Energy data for June 23–29, 2026 shows NCR prices averaging P72 per liter for RON 91 gasoline, P69.10 for diesel, and P97.50 for kerosene.
