PLDT Global posts 26% Q1 revenue growth driven by hyperscaler demand

PLDT Global Corporation, the international arm of PLDT, recorded a 26 percent year-on-year rise in total net service revenues for the first quarter of 2026, marking a strong start to the year.

The performance was led by robust growth in its enterprise segment, fueled by surging demand from hyperscalers, key partnerships with global digital platforms, and steady performance from its carrier voice operations. Demand remains strong for high-capacity connectivity services such as International Private Leased Circuits and colocation solutions as major technology firms expand across Asia and other regions.

New agreements with hyperscalers, content providers and international enterprises are also set to add to revenues over the course of 2026.

According to PLDT Global president and CEO Albert V. Villa-Real, the results highlight the strength of the company’s network, strategic location and commitment to reliable, world-class connectivity. He added that the firm will continue expanding its enterprise business, building partnerships and improving operations to deliver sustainable growth while supporting global digital innovation.
