SmarTrade boosts youth development through education, sports initiatives

SmarTrade is widening its social impact efforts by investing in education and sports programs, reflecting a growing trend among financial services firms to strengthen community engagement while nurturing the next generation.

Working with ATFX Cares, the corporate social responsibility arm of global broker ATFX, the financial education platform rolled out outreach initiatives that benefited hundreds of children in Rizal and Metro Manila, combining classroom support with character-building activities.

The company’s Balik Eskwela 2026 Community Outreach reached around 200 Grade 1 and Grade 2 pupils at Sto. Niño Elementary School in San Mateo, Rizal, providing school bags, learning materials, lunch bags, tumblers and food packs before classes resumed.

The initiative, conducted with ATFX Cares, Cosmos Lodge 8 and local government partners, also went beyond donations. Volunteers organized a feeding program and refreshed classrooms by repainting walls and chairs, helping create a more welcoming learning environment for students.

School officials and partner organizations joined the event, encouraging children to pursue their studies while highlighting the importance of community support in improving access to education.

SmarTrade also expanded its outreach through sports, teaming up with ATFX Cares and Dream Big Pilipinas for a football clinic at the Thomas Aquinas Field in San Juan.

The program brought together children aged 6 to 17, including participants from underserved communities, for football training, team-building activities and mentorship sessions.

Beyond introducing the game, organizers said the initiative aimed to instill discipline, teamwork, perseverance and self-confidence, reinforcing the growing role of sports as a platform for youth development and social inclusion.

The outreach underscores how companies are increasingly embedding corporate social responsibility into their broader business strategies, recognizing that investments in education and community development can generate lasting social value alongside stronger stakeholder relationships.

SmarTrade said it will continue expanding partnerships with schools, volunteer groups and community organizations to support education, mentorship and youth development programs across the country.
