AIA Philippines and its bancassurance arm BPI AIA won four honors at the 2026 Insurance Asia Awards in Singapore, recognizing work to expand insurance access, improve healthcare, and develop talent.
AIA Philippines took three awards: Health Insurance Initiative of the Year for MediCard’s nationwide care network; Community Initiative of the Year for its EDGE student internship program; and Training & Development Initiative of the Year for its Grow@AIA learning framework. BPI AIA earned Bancassurance Initiative of the Year for embedding insurance products in the BPI Mobile App.
“This reflects our commitment to making protection more accessible and empowering our people,” said AIA Philippines president and CEO Melita Teo. Chief HR officer Ellen Imasa noted the wins reinforce their inclusive, purpose-driven culture.
Representatives from both firms accepted the awards at the ceremony. The Insurance Asia Awards honor excellence across the Asia-Pacific insurance sector.
