To boost business operations and lower digital transaction hurdles across the country, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has waived all PESONet transfer fees for payments processed through the Pay Non-BPI disbursement feature on its corporate platform, BPI BizLink. Effective August 1, 2026, the fee-free policy applies to both new and existing corporate clients, allowing companies to disburse funds to external bank accounts at zero cost. The initiative marks a significant milestone in BPI’s 175th anniversary celebration, directly targeting operational overhead by eliminating repetitive disbursement expenses.
By removing interbank transfer fees for corporate users, BPI provides a strategic advantage to the business sector while delivering indirect yet substantial benefits to everyday consumers. Through the Pay Non-BPI feature, enterprises can seamlessly send payments to suppliers, service providers, contractors, and employees via the PESONet network. For employees and individual vendors, this ensures faster, direct, and hassle-free settlements without administrative deductions. Furthermore, reduced operational expenditure allows businesses to pass on savings to end consumers through more competitive pricing and reliable payroll disbursements.
This initiative reinforces BPI’s broader strategy to democratize digital finance and align with national regulatory goals. The move follows the bank’s July 1 permanent fee waiver across consumer platforms including the BPI app, online banking, VYBE, BanKo, and BizKo, implemented under BSP Circular No. 1238, Series of 2026, to foster fair electronic payment pricing. According to Louie Cruz, Head of Institutional Banking at BPI, eliminating these costs helps clients optimize operations and reallocate saved capital toward business growth. Beyond fee-free transfers, the BPI BizLink platform continues to support enterprise cash flow management with flexible scheduling tools like Pay Now, Pay On, and Pay Every, alongside zero-cost internal transfers through Pay BPI.
