Kerwin Max S. Tan, chief financial, risk and compliance officer of Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC), has been awarded CFO of the Year at the 25th Global Edition of the Asia Business Leader of the Year Awards in Singapore.
Since 2016, Tan has steered the company’s finance, risk, compliance and capital market operations, delivering a string of landmark transactions including a P13.2-billion bond issue in 2020, the Philippines’ largest REIT IPO in 2021 raising P23.5 billion, successive P15-billion bond offers in 2022 and 2023, and an P8.5-billion RCR share block placement in 2024—all bolstering growth and reflecting strong investor confidence.
“I see this recognition as a reflection of the work of the entire team,” Tan said, noting finance guides decisions across residential, office, mall, hospitality, logistics and mixed-use businesses. With nearly 30 years’ experience, his leadership supports RLC’s Vision 5-25-50 target of P25-billion net income by its 2030 golden anniversary. RLC president and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio praised Tan’s consistent, disciplined approach as a cornerstone of the firm’s financial strength and long-term growth.
