A delegation of 35 US companies has concluded a business mission to the Philippines, signaling continued private-sector interest in expanding investments and participating in major infrastructure, digital and supply-chain projects in the country.
The US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) said the 2026 Philippines Business Mission brought companies from technology, financial services, manufacturing, logistics, energy, healthcare and consumer industries for high-level discussions with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and senior government officials.
“Eight decades of U.S.-Philippines partnership have laid a strong foundation for what comes next,” USABC president and CEO Ambassador Brian McFeeters said.
“The Philippine Government has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing its economic priorities, and the U.S. private sector is committed to being a trusted partner in helping achieve them,” he said.
Participating companies included IBM, Citi, Coca-Cola, Zuellig Pharma, Lockheed Martin, Amazon Web Services, Boeing, Chevron, FedEx, Ford, Mastercard, PepsiCo, Salesforce, Texas Instruments and Visa, among others.
The mission coincided with the 80th anniversary of US-Philippines diplomatic relations and included meetings with economic agencies covering trade, finance, energy, transportation, digitalization and investment.
The Department of Finance separately met the delegation to discuss companies’ experiences and priorities in operating in the Philippines and potential government measures to improve the investment environment and encourage additional foreign capital.
The delegation also visited Clark to explore opportunities under the Luzon Economic Corridor, particularly in infrastructure, logistics, advanced manufacturing, energy and digital connectivity.
USABC said its members strongly support the corridor, which seeks to connect major growth centers in Luzon and strengthen supply-chain resilience.
Executive Secretary Ralph Recto urged American companies to deepen their presence in the country.
“Stay in the Philippines. Expand in the Philippines and build your future in the Philippines,” Recto said.
