The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) recognized 10 outstanding institutional partners from South Luzon during the 2026 Outstanding BSP Stakeholders Appreciation Ceremony (OBSAC) held on August 24, 2026. The awardees were honored for their strong support of the BSP’s currency management programs, including the Cash Service Alliance, as well as their efforts in promoting digital payments and expanding financial literacy among businesses, students, and local communities.
BSP Governor Eli M. Remolona, Jr. underscored that these shared achievements stem from close collaboration among all stakeholders, drawing on the Filipino spirit of bayanihan. “A house too heavy becomes light when everyone lifts together,” Remolona said. He added, “May we continue to pursue and deepen partnerships for financial stability and integrity, for the benefit of the people we serve.”
BSP Assistant Governor Rosabel B. Guerrero also expressed gratitude to the recognized institutions, noting their on-the-ground perspectives are vital to shaping effective policies. “Your experiences help us understand where gaps remain so we can better respond to the needs of Filipinos,” she stated.
The 10 outstanding institutional partners from South Luzon are LANDBANK of the Philippines – Naga Rotunda Branch, LANDBANK of the Philippines Cash Operations Unit – Legazpi Branch, LANDBANK of the Philippines – Puerto Princesa Branch, LANDBANK of the Philippines – Lucena Guinto Cash Operations Unit, First Consolidated Bank – Puerto Princesa Branch, Department of Education – Tayabas City Schools Division Office, Department of Education – Schools Division of Puerto Princesa City, Department of Trade and Industry – MIMAROPA, DWMR 648 AM Radyo Pilipinas Palawan, and LCC Malls (Liberty Commercial Center, Inc.).
