Security Bank Capital Corporation, the investment banking arm of Security Bank Corporation, has been awarded Philippines’ Best Investment Bank for Debt Capital Markets (DCM) at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026.
The firm supported public and private entities to raise over ₱700 billion in long-term funding for key investments. In 2025, it arranged 11 DCM transactions, expanding financing access across sectors.
It advised on major government issuances — the Republic’s ₱300 billion 10-year FXTN and ₱210 billion RTB Tranche 31 — boosting market liquidity, setting benchmarks, and widening the investor base. It also led bond deals for top firms including SM Prime, Aboitiz Power, Ayala Land, Petron, and parent Security Bank, enabling refinancing, expansion, sustainability, and growth. Private debt transactions totalled ₱23.3 billion, supporting energy security, infrastructure, and financial inclusion.
“This award belongs as much to our clients as it does to our team,” said Virgilio Chua, President & CEO. “We structure financing solutions that help them grow, invest, and create long-term value.”
The honor follows recent wins such as FinanceAsia’s Best DCM House – Domestic 2026, affirming its leadership in the Philippine debt capital market.
