When iconic OPM rock acts and today’s chart-topping talents take the stage together, the result is nothing short of magic—and thousands of concertgoers across Visayas and Mindanao experienced exactly that as the Tanduay First Five tour wrapped its multi-city run to packed venues and unforgettable performances. Bringing together old-school favorites and the industry’s brightest new names, the series became a vibrant celebration of shared musical heritage that drew audiences spanning generations.
“This year’s Tanduay First Five is different in many ways from the previous ones we staged, as we brought together new generation and old school bands and artists who collaborated live onstage,” shared Edzel Ty, digital brand manager of Tanduay. “It attracted audiences of all ages, from millennials to Gen Z, and turned out to be one of the most memorable concert tours in Visayas and Mindanao.” From the Grand Capital Mall Open Grounds in Iloilo to the SM Seaside City Cebu Concert Grounds and Davao Crocodile Park & Zoo in Davao, every venue was filled to capacity, a testament to the event’s broad appeal and cultural resonance.
Collaboration stood at the heart of the tour’s standout moments. In Davao, audiences were treated to a special joint performance as hip-hop stars Skusta Clee and Flow G shared the stage with beloved rock bands Kamikazee and Parokya ni Edgar, blending distinct styles into one electrifying show. Elsewhere, Zack Tabudlo and December Avenue delighted crowds across all legs, guiding fans through beloved hits that drew enthusiastic sing-alongs from start to finish.
Beyond the music, the tour embodied Tanduay’s long-held vision of building connection through the arts. “Tanduay First Five reflects Tanduay’s commitment to being part of moments that foster creativity, self-expression, and lasting memories,” Ty explained. “We support spaces where people could connect and celebrate shared experiences.” Organizing a multi-city tour featuring five major acts came with its own set of challenges, but the Tanduay team delivered a seamless run marked by exceptional attendance and community spirit.
The overwhelming response has already sparked eager anticipation for more. “When and where is the next TFF concert? This is the most common feedback we received on our social media pages, along with people requesting to have Tanduay First Five in their own cities,” Ty noted. What began as a planned one-time event may well return, with Ty hinting that another edition could arrive as early as next year. Looking ahead, Tanduay also teased the upcoming reveal of its 2026 Calendar Girl before the year ends.
More than just a concert series, Tanduay First Five was born as a heartfelt gesture of gratitude to the brand’s generations of loyal supporters. “Tanduay wouldn’t be where it is today without the support of all our loyal customers,” Ty said. “We have been in the industry for more than one hundred years and continue to craft spirits that best represent our country and our heritage because of you.” Through music, collaboration, and community, the tour stood as both a tribute to OPM’s enduring legacy and a celebration of the people who have made Tanduay a part of their lives.
