The Province of Cebu is accelerating its digital transformation via a formal collaboration with PLDT Enterprise to boost connectivity, workforce efficiency, and public service delivery. Building on the Cebu Province Digital Services Act of 2025 and guidance from its Provincial Information and Communications Technology Council (PICTC), the province has adopted PLDT solutions including iGate connectivity, Smart Corporate Lines, and Microsoft 365 supported by ePLDT.
Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro said the partnership advances modernized, responsive governance aligned with the province’s digital vision. PLDT’s Javier Lagdameo and Ma. Hazel Amoyan emphasized that reliable infrastructure and collaboration tools enable seamless operations and better citizen service, reaffirming commitment to supporting local government digitalization nationwide. This alliance strengthens Cebu’s secure, future-ready digital foundation, driving faster workflows, transparency, and public trust in government services.
