AC Health is moving into a new phase of integration after a decade of expansion, seeking to bring its hospitals, clinics and pharmaceutical businesses closer together as it builds a broader healthcare network.
The Ayala healthcare unit credited its corporate, government and healthcare partners with helping expand its reach and develop services spanning primary care, medicines and specialized treatment.
AC Health Vice Chairman and Ayala Corp. Chief Social Infrastructure Officer Paolo Borromeo said partnerships had been central to the company’s evolution from an initial push for more accessible and affordable healthcare into an integrated ecosystem serving millions of Filipinos.
Among those recognized was Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines, which received the Enterprise Partner of the Year award for collaborations covering corporate clinic management across 35 sites through Healthway Medical Network, central pharmacy operations through Generika Drugstore and oncology services at Healthway Cancer Care Hospital.
AC Health also cited PhilHealth, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Iloilo Province, Valenzuela City, Taguig City, PwC and Caritas Manila as Transformative Social Impact Partners.
Ayala Corp., TTEC and Transcom were recognized as Innovation Partners, while HSBC, San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corp., Wells Fargo, Lufthansa and Multicare Pharma received Legacy Partner awards.
BPI, Collins Aerospace, Globe, International Container Terminal Services Inc., Makati Development Corp., Okada, Procter & Gamble and Telstra were also recognized. Manila Water and QBE received Care Beyond Cure Champion awards.
AC Health President and CEO Dr. Num Tanthuwanit said the company’s next challenge is to turn its diverse businesses into a more coordinated platform.
The group plans greater integration across Healthway Medical Network, Generika Drugstore, St. Joseph Drug, I.E. Medica and MedEthix, aiming to streamline operations and make healthcare services more seamless for patients.
