Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) won two honors at the 2026 Philippine Quill Awards for communication campaigns aimed at widening access to formal financial services and bringing digital banking closer to underserved Filipinos.
RCBC was recognized in Category 10, Community Relations, for its RCBC ATM Go Agency Banking Initiative and in Category 7, Marketing, Advertising, and Brand Communication, for its MySSS Card powered by RCBC DiskarTech campaign.
ATM Go uses micro-entrepreneurs as community banking access points, allowing customers to make cash-in, cash-out and other basic transactions without traveling to traditional bank branches. Its network spans all 82 provinces, helping address geographic barriers that keep many Filipinos outside the formal financial system.
The MySSS Card, developed with the Social Security System, combines SSS digital services, a digital bank account and a debit card. The product gives members a simpler way to access government services and everyday financial tools through a single platform.
“These recognitions affirm our belief that communication is a powerful catalyst for financial inclusion,” said Lito Villanueva, RCBC executive vice president and chief innovations and inclusion officer.
“Whether we are bringing banking closer to communities through ATM Go or making formal financial services more accessible through the MySSS Card, the goal is to build trust and remove barriers for Filipinos,” he said.
RCBC was also the only Philippine bank among the 2026 IABC Gold Quill Awardees, winning in Customer Relations for its RCBC Pulz U.S. Virtual Account campaign.
The recognition reinforces RCBC’s broader push to use digital banking to reduce access barriers and bring more
