Mynt, operator of GCash, has obtained the Philippine Stock Exchange’s Notice of Approval for its proposed initial public offering, with plans to list on the Main Board next month. The application covers up to 8.027 billion common shares plus an overallotment option of up to 1.204 billion secondary shares, subject to PSE conditions, SEC’s final Permit to Sell, market conditions, and other required approvals.
The offering comprises up to 1.61 billion primary shares from Mynt and 6.42 billion secondary shares from a selling shareholder, priced at a maximum of ₱10 each. With full overallotment exercise, total proceeds could reach ₱89.25 billion, and Mynt’s initial market capitalization is seen at ₱668.96 billion—exceeding the PSE’s ₱200-billion listing threshold. Net proceeds from the primary offering, estimated at ₱14.95 billion, will fund digital financial services expansion, product development, and general corporate needs.
The offer period is scheduled October 6 to 12, with listing targeted for October 20 under ticker “GCASH.” Domestic lead underwriters and joint bookrunners are BPI Capital Corp. and BDO Capital & Investment Corp., while international joint bookrunners include Jefferies Singapore Ltd., CLSA Ltd., and HSBC Singapore Branch. Joint global coordinators and bookrunners are Morgan Stanley & Co. International PLC, J.P. Morgan Securities PLC, and UBS AG Singapore Branch.
This milestone underscores Mynt’s leading position in Philippine fintech and marks one of the country’s largest public offerings, demonstrating strong local and global institutional confidence in the digital financial sector and aligning with the PSE’s enhanced listing standards.
