Philippine software firm BossLabs AI is moving beyond its home market to expand across Southeast Asia, with Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand identified as its first key destinations. Co-founder Michael Manago confirmed the company is already holding talks with potential local partners to bring its solutions to markets facing similar digitalization hurdles.
Malaysia leads the expansion plan, with an initial rollout targeted for October this year. Indonesia and Thailand will follow as the next steps, with broader, more aggressive regional growth set for 2027. Manago noted that businesses across the region share common technology needs, especially as they turn to software and artificial intelligence to streamline and upgrade their operations.
BossLabs AI builds custom business software and delivers supporting infrastructure including databases, hosting, cybersecurity, and communication systems. Its long-term goal is to become a leading enterprise technology player across Asia. “My dream is to be the SAP of Asia,” Manago said, referencing the world-renowned global enterprise software provider.
Looking ahead, Manago will travel to the United States in January to take part in an artificial intelligence executive education program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The trip will also serve as an opportunity to connect with prospective investors and strategic partners to fuel BossLabs AI’s international growth.
