DOTr opens consultancy bids for projects boosting logistics, freight sector

The Philippines and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) are inviting qualified international and local firms or consortia to bid for consultancy services supporting the country’s logistics and freight transportation sector.

The work falls under the Facility for Accelerating Studies for Infrastructure (FASt-INFRA) Project, funded via a technical assistance grant from the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF), the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said.

The initiative aims to strengthen national logistics and freight systems, and enhance the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework across the Philippines and ASEAN. It will back government efforts to upgrade the sector and carry forward the Philippine Transportation System Master Plan (PTSMP).

Scope includes institutional strengthening, project preparation support, and cross-border knowledge sharing to build capacity in infrastructure planning and development.

Interested firms may review documents and submit technical and financial proposals following AIIB procurement rules. Deadline is October 22, 2026, 11:45 p.m.
