Globe has fully restored internet services hit by a disruption on the Philippines‑Singapore international subsea cable segment. Mobile and broadband customers who faced intermittent connectivity or slower speeds should now experience normal service.
Traffic on the affected link is back online after the Philippine cable landing station reactivated systems and stabilized fiber connections. Globe is working with international partners to pinpoint the fault’s exact cause and location.
Earlier, the disruption cut available international bandwidth, causing slower browsing and lag on some overseas services.
Globe thanks customers for their patience. It will keep monitoring network performance, maintaining reliable connectivity and working to minimize future disruption impacts.
