Robinsons Land joins Pag-IBIG drive for affordable homes

Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) has joined Pag-IBIG Fund’s growing network of private developers backing the government’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, giving Filipino workers more housing options they can finance through affordable Pag-IBIG loans.

Under a memorandum of understanding signed Oct. 5, qualified Pag-IBIG members can access participating Robinsons Land properties, potentially including ready-for-occupancy units, with preferential prices and buyer incentives, subject to availability and applicable terms.

The partnership will also bring home-matching activities, housing fairs, member briefings and loan counseling closer to Pag-IBIG members, helping prospective buyers find properties within their budgets and understand financing requirements.

DHSUD Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon P. Aliling said the entry of major developers is strengthening the government’s push to expand homeownership under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Expanded 4PH initiative.

“We are seeing this direction bear fruit as more leading developers join our efforts, giving Filipino workers more homes to choose from and more opportunities to find one they can afford,” Aliling said.

The deal comes months after Pag-IBIG raised its maximum housing loan to P10 million in June, expanding financing options, particularly for middle-income members.

Pag-IBIG is currently offering promotional rates of 4.5 percent annually for loans of up to ₱4.9 million and 5.75 percent for loans above P4.9 million up to P10 million. The rates are fixed for the first three years, with the promotion running through the end of 2026.

Robinsons Land President and CEO Mybelle V. Aragon-GoBio said the combination of Pag-IBIG financing and the RLC Residences portfolio could make homeownership more attainable for more Filipino families.
