Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Secretary Henry Aguda has committed to a seamless handover following his resignation, assuring the public that key digital programs and department operations will continue without disruption.
In a statement, Aguda thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for the opportunity to serve as the country’s top ICT official, calling his tenure a privilege to advance the administration’s digital transformation goals. He emphasized his commitment to ensuring an orderly transition that safeguards ongoing projects and essential services.
“My focus is to keep our operations steady and our digital initiatives on track as leadership changes,” Aguda said. He also recognized the hard work and dedication of DICT personnel and expressed his gratitude to the Filipino people for their trust and support during his term.
His assurance highlights a key priority: that the country’s digitalization efforts will not lose momentum despite the leadership change, keeping critical services and progress moving forward.
