The Palawan Group of Companies (PGC) and Radiowealth Finance Company (RFC) are expanding their partnership to simplify loan disbursements and repayments, combining branch-based services with digital payments to reach more Filipino borrowers.
The collaboration allows RFC customers to receive loan proceeds and settle monthly amortizations through Palawan’s nationwide branch network. It also introduces the companies’ first payment services integration through PalawanPay, giving borrowers another digital option for managing loan obligations.
The expanded channels could prove particularly useful to customers in underserved communities, where access to financial services remains uneven. By linking RFC’s lending operations with Palawan’s physical presence and digital platform, the partnership seeks to bring loan-related transactions closer to borrowers without requiring them to rely on a single payment channel.
“This partnership allows us to work more closely and respond more quickly to our customers’ needs,” said Lisa Castro-Sabado, PGC chief business development officer.
She said the initiative reflects the group’s commitment to serving underserved Filipinos through its “Pagmamahal sa Pilipinas” and “Serbisyong may Malasakit” principles, adding that the goal extends beyond business growth to making financial services more accessible.
The agreement also calls for closer coordination between the companies’ operations, finance, marketing and customer service teams. Better alignment across these functions is expected to help address borrowers’ needs more efficiently as transaction volumes and service coverage expand.
RFC chairman Jun Famatigan said the partnership’s broader purpose is to create opportunities for Filipinos who need accessible financial services, emphasizing collaboration and open communication between the organizations.
The move underscores how financial service providers are combining established physical networks with digital channels to improve convenience and extend their reach. For borrowers, additional payment options may offer greater flexibility in managing monthly obligations, although the practical benefits will depend on service availability and ease of use.
Both companies said they plan to explore further opportunities to extend financial services to more communities nationwide, building on the expanded disbursement and payment arrangements.
