Business aircraft operators in the Philippines will have a local option for installing and maintaining inflight connectivity systems after Aviation Concepts Technical Services Inc. (ACTSI) secured authorized dealer status from Gogo Business Aviation.
The agreement allows ACTSI to market, sell, install, and support Gogo products in the country, adding broadband data, voice, and other connectivity services to its maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations at Subic Bay International Airport.
For aircraft owners and operators, the arrangement means connectivity installations and aircraft maintenance can be coordinated through a single service provider, potentially reducing the need to work with separate specialists.
ACTSI president and chief executive officer TJ Trinidad said the partnership would strengthen local support, particularly for operators of the Philippines’ substantial King Air fleet.
“Connectivity has become an increasingly important part of the business aviation experience, and being able to support these requirements directly complements our broader MRO capabilities,” Trinidad said.
Under the dealer program, ACTSI will deploy Gogo-trained technical personnel and specialized tools for installations and product support, following the company’s technical standards.
The training and equipment investment expands the services available at ACTSI’s Subic facility and supports its push to provide more integrated aircraft care to owners, operators, and management companies.
Gogo regional director for Asia-Pacific Tom Phillips said demand for reliable inflight connectivity was growing across the region, prompting the company to expand its network of service partners.
ACTSI, a member of the Razon Group of Companies, said the agreement complements its expanding maintenance capabilities while allowing it to retain direct, personalized customer support.
