Roxaco Land Corp., a subsidiary of Roxas and Co., Inc., said Thursday it has embarked on an aggressive expansion program for its real estate and hospitality units.
The property developer has resumed development projects in the Tagaytay to Nasugbu area amid strong demand for residential property, rising real estate prices, increasing tourism traffic as COVID-19 infections ease, and the development of new highways that would shorten travel time from Manila to the two destinations.
Roxaco Land resumed land development and construction of sold units in its low cost and mid-market open lot and housing projects in Nasugbu. Construction was stalled by the pandemic.
The company is now finalizing plans for the launch of the Anya Villa Project, a low density offer that targets the higher end segment of the property market.
Roxaco Land said it is leveraging on the recovery of local travel and tourism, boosting occupancy levels in all of its budget hotels in Metro Manila. Guests are returning and pushing bookings to near pre-pandemic levels, it added.
The company said it is implementing phased renovations of its hotels as well as targeted marketing programs to strengthen its customer proposition.
Financial details of the projects weren’t immediately available.
