Megaworld Corp. is building its second hotel in Pasig City, which the listed property development venture of tycoon Andrew Tan said Monday would likely be the tallest homegrown hotel project to date.
The listed property developer will build the 31-story, 339-suite ArcoVia Hotel on the 12.3-hectare ArcoVia City estate along C5 Road. The suites will feature varying views of the Metro Manila skyline, including views of the Bonifacio Global City skyline and the mountains of Antipolo.
“We are delighted to introduce our newest development here in Metro Manila, which will be our 21st property and the tallest hotel development in Megaworld’s portfolio to date. This hotel really suits the world-class vibe of ArcoVia City, and will even delight future guests with an unimpeded view of the iconic Arco de Emperador,” said Cleofe Albiso, managing director of Megaworld Hotels and Resorts.
ArcoVia Hotel is scheduled to open in 2029. It will be the 21st hotel property launched by Megaworld Hotels and Resorts. Out of the 20 hotel properties launched, 12 are operational with around 5,000 hotel room keys.
Financial details of the hotel project weren’t immediately disclosed.
