President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. issued Proclamation No. 727 declaring the regular holidays and special non-working days for the year 2025. At least three weekends will be extended next year by the holiday declaration that Filipinos could take note of to plan their travel. The proclamations declaring national holidays for the observance of Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha will be issued after the dates of the Islamic holidays are determined in accordance with the Hijra or Islamic calendar, or upon Islamic astronomical calculations, whichever is applicable.
