Majority or 59% of Filipinos are satisfied with the Marcos Jr. Administration, according to results from the latest Social Weather Stations survey.
The survey was conducted from December 12 to 18, 2024, using face-to-face interviews with 2,160 respondents nationwide, and has a ±2 margin of error.
The survey asked respondents how satisfied or dissatisfied they were with the present national administration.

Results show that 59% of Filipinos were satisfied with the current administration in December 2024, almost the same satisfaction rating as in September 2024 (60%).
The number of dissatisfied Filipinos also barely moved from 24% in September to 23% in December, while those who were undecided increased by 2% from 15% in September to 17% in December.
Over-all, the Marcos Jr. administration had a net satisfaction rating of +36 in December 2024, which SWS classifies as Good. This is the same rating as in September 2024.
Among the regions, Visayas recorded the highest satisfied respondents at 65%, while Mindanao has the highest dissatisfaction at 31%.
The survey also asked respondents about their satisfaction toward the current administration’s programs or activities.

Results show that the satisfaction of Filipinos toward various government activities and programs significantly increased.
The government received very good net satisfaction ratings on five (5) activities and programs.
Filipinos remain most satisfied with the Marcos Jr. administration’s efforts in “helping victims of disasters”, which received a net satisfaction rating of +65 in December 2024. This is 3% higher compared to the rating received by the same activity in September 2024.
This is followed by “improving the quality of children’s education”, which received +60 net satisfaction in December, and remained unchanged since September 2024.
The net satisfaction of Filipinos toward the government’s efforts in “helping the poor” also increased from +51 in September to +57 in December.
Similarly, “creating policies which will generate job opportunities” got a next satisfaction of +51 in December, 7% higher than September, while “developing science and technology” also received +51, a 4% increase from September.
Meanwhile, the administration received a good net satisfaction rating on seven (7) activities and programs.
Notably, the public’s net satisfaction ratings toward almost all of these activities increased compared to the ratings recorded in September.
These include “implementing housing programs for the poor” (+49), “ensuring food security” (+46), “ensuring an efficient public transportation system” (+45), “being prepared for strong typhoons” (+44), “preparing for problems being caused by climate change” (+38), “telling the truth” (+34), and “defending the PH sovereignty in the West Philippine Sea” (+32).
The administration only ranked poorly in “fighting inflation”, which received a -12 net satisfaction rating.
