Converge ICT Solutions Inc. has formed strategic partnerships with Starlink and Ribbon Communications to bolster its high-speed, low-latency connectivity offerings across the Philippines. In collaboration with Starlink, Converge aims to provide cutting-edge satellite broadband services to remote and underserved regions, enabling businesses and government sectors nationwide to access reliable internet in even the most remote areas.
Dennis Anthony Uy, CEO and co-founder of Converge, highlighted the significance of the partnership, noting that Converge is one of the few companies in the Philippines authorized to resell Starlink services. This partnership aims to transform industries like construction, mining, agriculture, retail, and hospitality, which often struggle with unreliable internet. Sherie Ng, managing director of Converge Singapore, emphasized that the collaboration would unlock new opportunities for industries and improve connectivity for Filipinos in rural areas.
Additionally, Converge has strengthened its network capabilities by teaming up with NASDAQ-listed Ribbon Communications. The integration of Ribbon’s Muse Multilayer Automation Platform (MAP) will enhance Converge’s network performance, enabling better management of data from IoT applications, cloud services, and future innovations. This expansion follows a successful collaboration to implement Ribbon’s 140Gbaud transmission chipset, boosting Converge’s network capacity to 1.2 Tbps.
With these strategic alliances, Converge is positioning itself to lead the Philippine market in delivering advanced connectivity solutions for both urban and remote locations, reinforcing its role as a key player in the country’s digital transformation.
