AirSWIFT launches new Clark-El Nido flights

AirSWIFT, the regional airline now controlled by Cebu Air Inc., has expanded its operations with direct flights from Clark International Airport to El Nido Airport in Palawan, marking a significant development in the aviation and tourism sectors. Previously owned by Ayala Land Inc., the airline’s new route is strategically positioned to benefit travelers from Northern and Central Luzon, offering a convenient alternative to Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

This new flight route enhances accessibility to Ayala Land’s premier leisure destinations, including its resorts in Lio Estate. The improved connectivity is expected to drive tourism, benefiting both local businesses and job creation, while also contributing to the sustainable growth of the El Nido area. The initiative is aligned with Ayala Land’s vision of responsible and sustainable development.

Cris Zuluaga, eahd of Ayala Land Leisure Estates, emphasized the importance of the new flights: “This route is a game-changer for El Nido. We look forward to welcoming travelers seeking immersive, nature-focused experiences that will help foster local economic growth while preserving the natural beauty of the area for generations to come.”

As part of its commitment to supporting the region’s growth, Ayala Land has also announced plans to increase the capacity of El Nido Airport to accommodate rising passenger volumes, ensuring the long-term sustainability of both tourism and the environment.

Flights to El Nido officially commenced on 30 March, with AirSWIFT continuing to operate from Manila. Tickets for both routes are available through Cebu Pacific’s website, mobile app, and partner travel agencies.
