Abigail Fronda Marquez, widely known as the “Lumpia Queen” for her engaging cooking videos on TikTok and YouTube, has added another accolade to her growing list of achievements: Food Influencer of the Year at the 2025 WIBA Awards.
Now in its seventh year, the WIBA (World Influencers and Bloggers Awards) ceremony took place on May 23 in Cannes, drawing together some of the most influential digital creators from around the globe. The event, organized by the Monaco-based World Influencers Association, is the first and only international awards platform dedicated to recognizing the impact of social media personalities across diverse categories.
The WIBA Awards spotlight influencers who are not only shaping trends but also using their platforms to support meaningful causes, champion diversity, and build a global sense of community. The event’s combined digital reach typically generates over 200 million impressions.
In a heartfelt Facebook post following the ceremony, Marquez reflected on her journey: “It’s still crazy to me that I’m in Europe for the first time and being recognized for something my team and I built with so much love. To be surrounded by creators from all over the world—and to represent Filipino food on an international stage—is surreal.”
She also extended her gratitude to her audience: “To everyone who watched and shared our content, maraming salamat po. You helped Filipino food be seen across the globe.”
Marquez’s win highlights not just her personal success, but also the growing global recognition of Filipino cuisine and creativity in the digital space.
