DMCI Homes Inc., the property development arm of DMCI Holdings Inc., has posted a major sales milestone with nearly P4.9 billion in reservation sales from its Moncello Crest project in Tuba, Benguet. The company reported that 84 percent of the nearly 700 condotel units in the project’s first building, Blanca, have been sold within a year of its launch.
The success has prompted the launch of a second building, Silva, adding 52 more units to the highland leisure development. DMCI Homes president Alfredo Austria cited the strong market response as a signal to deepen the company’s expansion in the leisure property sector.
“This motivates us to pursue more opportunities in this growing market,” Austria said.
Located minutes from Baguio City, Moncello Crest is positioned as a premium eco-agri resort development, combining vacation home comfort with investment potential through a rental pool program. Property consultancy Colliers Philippines highlighted the project as an example of the growing success of condotels outside Metro Manila.
Following similar success at Solmera Coast in Batangas, the momentum at Moncello Crest underscores DMCI Homes’ strategic push into resort-style developments under its Leisure Residences brand. Both Blanca and Silva buildings are set for completion by 2028 and 2029, respectively.
