Manulife-Pfizer alliance aims to boost health literacy among Filipinos

Manulife Philippines has teamed up with Pfizer to co-develop disease awareness and health education campaigns, a move expected to significantly benefit Filipino consumers by improving access to critical health information and preventive care.

The partnership, part of Manulife’s Better Days campaign, aims to promote holistic wellness by providing public information on preventive healthcare, available treatments, disease management, and financial protection against critical illnesses.

“Health and wellness awareness and access are crucial for our customers to achieve Better Days,” said Sonali Verma, chief marketing officer of Manulife Philippines. “Our collaboration with Pfizer opens additional avenues to reach more Filipinos with the information and access they need.”

Albert Magpantay, commercial lead at Pfizer Philippines, added, “Our collaboration with Manulife represents a significant step towards enhancing health literacy and raising awareness about preventive healthcare and treatments.”

The initiative supports Manulife’s health-focused insurance products, including Medical Secure and HealthFlex, designed to help Filipinos prepare financially for medical emergencies and critical illnesses with comprehensive and flexible coverage.
