Cebu Pacific will launch daily direct flights between Cebu and El Nido beginning 26 October, further strengthening its domestic network and enhancing inter-island connectivity in the Philippines.
Operated by its regional subsidiary Cebgo (DG), the new route is expected to make El Nido’s iconic natural attractions—such as lagoons, limestone cliffs, and white-sand beaches—more accessible to travelers from the Central Visayas region. The route adds competition to the Cebu–El Nido corridor, currently served by AirSWIFT.
“El Nido has long been one of the country’s most sought-after destinations,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer. “By adding this route ahead of the holiday season, we are not only strengthening inter-island connectivity but also creating more opportunities for every Juan to discover the best of the Philippines.”
The route complements Cebu Pacific’s growing presence in Palawan, where it already offers direct flights from Cebu to Coron (Busuanga), San Vicente (Port Barton), and Puerto Princesa.
Beyond leisure travel, the expansion reflects Cebu Pacific’s broader commercial strategy of reinforcing secondary hubs like Cebu as key domestic connectors. For El Nido-based travelers, the new route also opens access to Cebu’s rich cultural sites and cuisine.
The airline, which flies to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations, continues to offer flexible payment options and encourages the use of Travel Funds for bookings.
