Megawide Construction Corp. announced that its board of directors has approved a revised dividend policy, increasing the percentage of net income allocated for dividends.
Under the new policy, Megawide will now set aside 50 percent of the previous year’s net income for dividends, up from the previous 30 percent.
In 2024, the company reported an 86 percent surge in net income, reaching ₱525.9 million from ₱283.5 million in 2023. Based on the updated policy, Megawide will allocate approximately ₱263 million as cash dividends.
With 2.39 billion outstanding shares, this translates to a cash dividend of around ₱0.11 per share for shareholders on record.
