    Globe expands network in Batangas

Globe Telecom Inc. has expanded its network infrastructure in Lipa City and several municipalities in Batangas to meet growing demand for fast and reliable connectivity.

New cell sites were activated in Lipa’s Barangays Tambo (Bloomfields Subdivision) and Bulacnin, while existing facilities were upgraded in Agoncillo, Alitagtag, Balete, Calatagan, Laurel, Mabini, San Juan, San Pascual, Taal, and Talisay.

“These builds are part of our ongoing efforts to bring reliable and accessible connectivity to more communities,” said Joel Agustin, Globe’s SVP and head of Network Planning and Engineering.

The improved network is benefiting various sectors, including agriculture, education, and business process outsourcing (BPO). Farmers and cooperatives now enjoy better access to digital tools for mobile banking and logistics. Students and educators benefit from more stable online learning experiences, while families can connect more easily to healthcare and government services.

Enhanced connectivity also supports BPO centers and IT parks in Lipa, ensuring smooth cloud-based operations for global clients.

To complement the upgrades, Globe offers data promos such as Go+99 and EZ50 5G for prepaid users, and GPlan postpaid and Globe At Home broadband for high-capacity needs.

The expansion reflects Globe’s commitment to supporting digital growth in emerging communities like Batangas, bridging traditional industries and modern enterprises through improved digital access.
