Megaworld Hotels and Resorts has partnered with global hospitality group Accor to rebrand the 1,530-room Grand Westside Hotel in Parañaque as Mövenpick Manila Bay Westside, set to become the world’s largest Mövenpick property.
The two companies will work on brand alignment, system upgrades, and operational improvements through next year, with the hotel scheduled to fully open before the end of 2026.
Accor said the project strengthens its presence in the Philippines, where travel demand continues to rise. Executives from both firms described the hotel as a future flagship that will offer experience-focused hospitality and support the country’s tourism growth.
This marks Megaworld and Accor’s second collaboration, following the conversion of Belmont Hotel Mactan into Mercure Mactan Cebu.
Located in Megaworld’s Westside City township in Entertainment City, the 19-story, two-tower hotel will connect via sky bridge to the upcoming integrated casino, entertainment complex, and the country’s first Grand Opera House. The property will feature four specialty dining outlets and a pool deck with panoramic Manila Bay views.
