    Insurer claims lead in PH life insurance market

    Pru Life UK reported a new business annual premium equivalent (NBAPE) of ₱7.38 billion as of the third quarter of 2025, reinforcing its leadership position in the domestic life insurance industry, according to the Insurance Commission.

    The company said the result reflects steady demand for its protection and savings products, supported by wider distribution, stronger advisory services, and improved digital channels. Pru Life UK noted growing awareness among Filipino families about the importance of insurance and long-term financial planning, which continues to drive business growth.

    As part of its commercial strategy, the insurer is aligning its offerings with seasonal consumer priorities, highlighting protection as a practical and meaningful investment for families, especially as the year-end holidays approach.

    Pru Life UK also recently launched PRULove Wealth Direct, a single-pay endowment life insurance product that offers guaranteed annual cash payouts, full return of premium at maturity, and life insurance coverage. The product is available exclusively online through PRUShoppe.com, reflecting the company’s push to expand digital access and simplify the customer experience.

    The insurer said it will continue investing in digital platforms, advisory capabilities, and customer support as it aims to strengthen its market position and help more Filipinos build financial security while protecting long-term value.
