2GO, DTI unite to strengthen supply

Logistics giant 2GO Group, Inc. has inked a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to bolster the Philippines’ supply chain and enhance logistics support for businesses nationwide.

The agreement positions 2GO as a key partner in both everyday operations and emergency response, ensuring uninterrupted goods movement during crises.

Under the MOU, 2GO will join DTI-led business-matching events, market linkages, and establish Logistics Support Desks at Negosyo Centers across the archipelago. These desks will give entrepreneurs practical guidance to optimize distribution and logistics workflows.

In return, DTI will provide coordination and access to its Supply Chain and Logistics Center (SCLC) platform, enabling seamless public-private collaboration. By integrating 2GO into the SCLC network, the initiative strengthens service delivery and centralizes logistics data, advisory services, and industry linkages to create a more resilient, efficient supply chain.

The MOU formalizes commitments first outlined in a June 2025 Pledge of Commitment and expands 2GO’s role in supporting MSMEs, which face high transport costs, inconsistent logistics providers, and fragmented supply chains.

Trade Secretary Cristina A. Roque, 2GO President and CEO Frederic DyBuncio, and COO/CFO William Howell led the ceremonial signing. Roque emphasized the partnership’s potential to “supercharge enterprises of all sizes—from large-scale operations to micro and small businesses spread across more than 7,600 islands.”

By uniting 2GO’s logistics expertise with DTI’s coordination, the collaboration aims to plug supply chain gaps, reduce costs, and accelerate the flow of goods nationwide, signaling a major step forward in strengthening the Philippines’ economic backbone.
