Globe Prepaid has upgraded its Go+ promos to include free unlimited 5G access, marking a major shift in how prepaid users can enjoy high-speed mobile data. Starting today, subscribers to Go+149 and higher plans will get unlimited 5G, replacing the previous 8GB 5G data cap.
The move targets heavy data users who depend on fast and reliable internet for streaming, gaming, and online work. By offering unlimited 5G at no extra cost, Globe is making next-generation connectivity more accessible and affordable for everyday Filipinos.
The upgrade also supports the goals of the Konektadong Pinoy Act, which promotes wider and more affordable internet access nationwide. As the network with the widest 5G coverage in the Philippines, according to Ookla®, Globe aims to ensure that 5G is not just available, but practical for daily use.
Globe executives said the goal is to remove data limits that prevent users from fully benefiting from 5G. The company noted that earlier 5G offers helped drive higher data usage and faster adoption of the technology.
The unlimited 5G feature is now included in Go+149, Go+179, Go+250, and Go+400. Users continue to get their regular all-access data, with unlimited 5G usable in Globe’s 5G-covered areas.
Customers can sign up through the GlobeOne app, GCash, or by dialing *143#. A 5G-ready SIM, compatible device, and location within a 5G-covered area are required to access the unlimited 5G benefit.
