Concepcion Industrial posts higher 4Q sales, but full-year profit falls

Concepcion Industrial Corp., a maker of air conditioners and refrigerators, reported higher sales in the fourth quarter of last year, but its full-year net income declined.

The company said group sales in the fourth quarter rose 10 percent to P6.3 billion, including contributions from associate company Concepcion Midea Inc. Consolidated net sales reached P4.6 billion, up 3 percent year on year, while consolidated earnings totaled P196 million. The company did not provide comparable figures for earnings.

Chief financial officer Rajan Komarasu said the company delivered steady results despite a challenging business environment, adding that its diversified portfolio helped support fourth-quarter performance heading into 2026.

For the full year, total group net sales, including Midea, increased 10 percent to P25.9 billion. Consolidated net sales rose 3 percent to P18.5 billion. However, consolidated earnings fell 10 percent to P1.1 billion, from P1.22 billion a year earlier.

Chief executive officer Ariel Fermin said the company faced industry-wide challenges in 2025 but remained focused on execution and long-term growth, thanking shareholders and partners for their continued support.
