Data activator Boomi has introduced new features to its enterprise platform designed to help businesses better manage and use data for artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, and automation.
The updates center on “data activation,” which ensures data is accurate, governed, and delivered at the right time so AI systems can generate reliable results. According to Boomi CEO Steve Lucas, companies are now moving beyond AI experimentation and need trusted, action-ready data to support real-world operations.
Among the key changes is the introduction of Meta Hub, a centralized system that creates a single, consistent source of data across organizations. This allows both AI systems and employees to rely on the same trusted information, reducing errors caused by fragmented data.
Boomi has also launched a dedicated European platform instance to keep customer data within the region. This move supports compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and improves performance in regulated environments.
In addition, the company unveiled a new SAP data connector that enables real-time data extraction without the need for custom development. This allows businesses to access up-to-date information for AI, analytics, and other processes more efficiently.
To address concerns about AI transparency, Boomi added new monitoring and governance tools that provide visibility into AI-driven workflows. These tools allow organizations to track how AI systems operate, including their performance and decision-making processes.
The platform also includes new recommendation features to help companies design and deploy AI agents more effectively, speeding up adoption at an enterprise level.
Industry analysts note that as businesses scale AI, accuracy and governance have become critical. Boomi said its latest updates aim to help organizations move from isolated automation efforts to fully integrated systems where people and AI work together using trusted data.
