Pueblo de Oro Development Corp. recently held a tree-planting activity at Pueblo de Oro Westwoods Heights in Barangay Tingga Itaas, highlighting its push for sustainability in its housing projects.
Employees, brokers, and partners planted pine trees across the site to help preserve green spaces and promote environmental awareness among residents.
The 13-hectare Westwoods Heights development offers over 500 house-and-lot units and open lots. It features landscaped areas, parks, and a central green space aimed at encouraging outdoor activities and community interaction. Around 40 percent of the property is dedicated to roads, parks, and open spaces.
According to vice president for sales and marketing John Vincent Rapiz, the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to building communities that are both livable and environmentally responsible.
The company said such efforts support sustainable urban growth, especially as Batangas City continues to develop as a regional economic hub.
