The Manila Electric Company (Meralco) said it is ready to provide stable and reliable electricity service throughout the Holy Week.
Meralco vice president Joe Zaldarriaga said response teams will be on standby 24/7 to handle any power-related issues. He added that crews are fully prepared as the nation observes a solemn and safe Holy Week.
The company also reminded customers to follow safety measures, especially those leaving their homes. These include unplugging unused appliances, avoiding overloaded outlets, keeping wires organized, and ensuring electrical devices are away from water.
Customers may report concerns through Meralco’s hotlines (0920-9716211, 0917-5516211, and 16211), the My Meralco app, or its official social media pages.
Meanwhile, Meralco business centers will be closed from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday, with operations set to resume on April 6.
